David Lozano (b. Houston, Tx) is a Chicago based artist and adjunct associate professor at the School of the Art Institute. He received his BFA at the University of Houston and an MFA is from the University of Illinois in Chicago.  Lozano’s exhibition’s include but not limited to: Koplin Del Rio Gallery, Culver City, CA; the Blaffer Gallery in Houston; Hyde Park Art Center, Chicago, IL; Kinsey Institute Gallery, Bloomington, IN; Evanston Art Center, Evanston, IL; Art Miami, Miami, FL; St Louis Artists Guild, St Louis, MO, Lozano currently is represented by Zolla/Lieberman Gallery in Chicago. He has participated in Joan Mitchell Center artists residency in New Orleans, LA.  He has received numerous grants including the Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters and Sculptors award and has been reviewed in publications such as the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times and the L.A. Times.
